Negroni
500ml Bottle
5 servings
22.1% ABV
Although you might think it doesn’t need an introduction, we discovered that everyone has their own idea of what makes a Negroni special.
Our version is bold, rich and bittersweet with subtle notes of chocolate that come from the addition of cocoa bitters and a gentle infusion of orange oils.
A crowd-pleasing Negroni, if there’s such a thing.
TASTING NOTES
A perfect blend of citrus & herbacious notes on the nose with prominent juniper, orange peel, and subtle cocoa nib. Palate is rich and powerful with tangy orange, vibrant herbs, and bitter root. The finish is long with zesty herb and gentle cocoa.
INGREDIENTS
Tanqueray – Campari – Antica Formula – Cocoa Bitters
HISTORY of
Negroni
It’s been widely accepted that the origin of the Negroni occurred in Florence, Italy. Count Camillo Negroni was a regular at Caffe Casoni and had one day asked the bartender to strengthen his favourite cocktail, the Americano.
He replaced the soda water with gin and added an orange garnish instead of the standard lemon peel. Not before long, patrons at the bar began ordering “one of Count Negroni’s drinks”, and later it just became known as a Negroni.
HOW TO ENJOY
We suggest keeping our Negroni refrigerated so it is ready when you are. Usually served on the rocks but is equally great when enjoyed neat.
Start with
some Ice
We recommend being generous so your cocktail remains ice-cold until the last drop
Pour the
Cocktail
Briefly shake your bottle before measuring 100ml of the cocktail and pour carefully into your glass
Finish with
the Garnish
As the Negroni is pre-infused with orange oils this step isn’t necessary, however, an orange peel in the glass is a nice visual touch
ANYTHING ELSE?
Negroni is not the only way to go. Don’t skip on the others - we’re pretty sure you’ll love them too.
